The Fighting Irish rushed for 362 yards and six touchdowns, asserting their dominance from start to finish. Purdue's only touchdown came early, but they struggled to keep up with Notre Dame's relentless offense and physicality. This win marked a significant rebound for Notre Dame after their previous upset loss. The Irish showed strength on both sides of the ball, while Purdue couldn't match their intensity, leading to one of the most lopsided games in the rivalry’s recent history. Quarterback Riley Leonard had a great day on the ground as he tallied 100 yards and 3 touchdowns, while running back Jeremiyah Love amassed 109 yards rushing as the Irish scored 6 total rushing TDs. Backup QB's Steve Angeli and Kenny Minchey both saw time for the Irish in the lopsided victory. Next up: Home game Saturday Sept. 21 vs. Miami of Ohio Redhawks (0-2)
