Lee Becton will be joining our team! Becton will be bringing his wealth of knowledge of Irish Football for you. He also will provide his innovative ideas and concepts to enhance the overall experience and content that We Are ND Nation will be bringing you going forward. Becton who donned the #4 jersey, played RB for coach Holtz from 1991- 1994. He tallied 2029 yards in his 4 years and 12 rushing TD's. The 1993 campaign had the Irish finishing at #2 in the Coaches Poll and AP Poll after an 11-1 record. Becton amassed 1044 yards on the ground and 6 rushing TDs that season. Becton rushed for 138 yards in the 24-21 Cotton Bowl victory that year vs. Texas A&M and was awarded the offensive MVP of that game. In 1994, Becton served as one of four captains on that squad.
